AI/ML Research Scientist specializing in deep learning, computer vision, and medical imaging, currently completing a Ph.D. dissertation on generalizable, clinically-actionable AI for medical image segmentation. Developed metaheuristic-guided channel selection frameworks and uncertainty-aware robust loss functions that achieve state-of-the-art segmentation performance (91.84% Dice) while cutting GPU memory by 26% and annotation burden by 37%. Led a systematic benchmarking study of 25 medical LLMs across 7,300+ clinical queries. 2 filed patents and 16+ publications in high-impact journals (IF: up to 19.2). 🔬 My Research

I am a Computer Science researcher specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Medical Image Analysis. I am completing my Ph.D. in Computer Science at York University, where my research focuses on developing robust and generalizable deep learning methods for healthcare applications. My research interests include deep learning, medical image segmentation, multimodal AI, trustworthy AI, and optimization algorithms. I am passionate about designing intelligent systems that bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and real-world clinical applications.

Throughout my academic career, I have developed novel AI models, published in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, and collaborated on interdisciplinary research projects involving computer science, engineering, and healthcare. I have also mentored undergraduate researchers and contributed to grant-funded research initiatives.
